Coming soon to the App StoreA calorie and macro tracker with everything you need to stay on track — and nothing that gets in the way.
Remaining calories, protein, fat, carbs and weight on one screen. Swipe for the next day.

“Oatmeal 60 g and a banana” — AI works it out. A photo of your plate or the nutrition label works too, and barcodes are looked up in the food database.

Search covers the shared Unpuzio database and Open Food Facts, with calories, protein, fat and carbs per 100 g. Add a missing product and everyone gets it.

Your daily calorie target comes from your weight, pace and date, with safe limits — for weight loss, gain or maintenance. You can see where every number comes from.

A smoothed weight trend instead of the scale's noise, a discipline calendar and an AI summary of your week or month: what's working and what to adjust.

Unpuzio has no accounts and no server holding your data. Here's exactly what goes where — no fine print.
Everything lives in the app's database on your iPhone and syncs through your personal iCloud database (CloudKit). The developer has no access to it.
The Unpuzio folder in iCloud Drive holds readable copies: a daily food diary in Markdown, CSV and JSON, and meal photos. Open them in Files, on a Mac, or hand them to another app.
AI provider keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and synced through iCloud Keychain with end-to-end encryption.
Apple Intelligence runs on device. With your own key, the food description or photo goes straight from your phone to the provider you chose — never through us.
The database server only sees the query or product and a random install ID — no name, diary, weight or profile. Turn it off and search goes straight to Open Food Facts.
No analytics, ads, trackers or sign-up. Health data stays inside Apple's ecosystem and is never sent to AI.
It's free forever. There is no subscription, no trial, no “Pro” version and no paid features — not now and not later. The project will be supported by voluntary donations.
Photo recognition needs an AI key with vision. The easiest is a free OpenRouter key — see our step-by-step guide (about 5 minutes, no card needed). Your own Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini key works too. Then tap “Photo” and snap your plate or the nutrition label; you can always edit grams and macros before saving. Apple Intelligence handles text input on device.
Unpuzio covers the same everyday job — a calorie counter, macro tracker and food diary with a barcode scanner — but every feature is free, there are no ads, and you don't need an account.
No. Open the app and start logging. Your data syncs between your devices through your own iCloud.
On your iPhone and in your personal iCloud. Readable copies (Markdown, CSV, JSON) are kept in iCloud Drive. The developer has no access to your diary, weight or profile.
Yes. Logging, your product list and the diary work without internet. Food photos taken offline are queued and recognized once you're back online.
Not yet — Unpuzio is for iPhone.
It's free forever and stays that way thanks to people who chip in. A donation pays for the server and new features.
